Autism Sympathetic counsellor / therapist for teenage son

I am looking for a counsellor/therapist who is experienced working with autistic teens (our son is 16 years old). Is there an online directory that specialises in this, I haven't been able to find much info online?

Any help or recommendations for a counsellor/therapist (either online or in-person) or a good webpage/directory greatly appreciated we are based in south-east UK.

  • I would recommend looking at: https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/counselling/england

    Click on England at the top and find the town/city nearest you then click on the ALL FILTERS button and chose Autism and Child to get a better filter of therapists - also choose any areas that you think are relevant to the treatment you are after.

    I tried with selecting Brighton with those filters and it showed 43 therapists, so hopefully there are plenty in your area.

    You can look at their profiles and often book a 15 min free session to see if they are suitable for the needs your some has.
