Hi, I wouldn't know about what would be good specifically for adults with ASC because it effects people differently and as its a spectrum you might be faced with a range of people with very different issues. I'm not officially diagnosed but I am pretty certain I'm on the spectrum but I am quite good at various arts and crafts and have an art degree too, I've also assisted in workshops for both children and adults although not specificically for adults with autism. So I can say from my own abilities that you might have some very creative and able participants, however I would imagine someone with problems such as dyspraxia could find an activity which requires dexterity and fine motor skills quite challenging maybe? Do you know the kind of level you're participants would be at?
As for ideas, you might find some useful arts and crafts books in 'The Works', they have some great books and can give you some good inspiration, even the library should have some decent books with good, simple craft ideas. if you're concerned about lower functioning participants there's always ways around things like providing safety scissors and safety needles, you might be able to get hold of pre-cut fabric shapes with holes around the edges to make sewing them together easier, we use to get those kinds of things for very quick children's workshops. If you're on a very tight budget you can look into using recycled materials for making things such as puppets or just random creatures.
Hope I was some help anyway
