Hi there I am new to this site so please bear with me I am wondering if anyone can help me . I work one -to -one with an autistic learner he is in reception (age 4) we are using the RWI programme (read wrote inc.) we are doing a ditty a week . the learner can read the words however cannot blend the sounds he is learning the words from memory can anyone advise me on how to help him blend sounds?
