Hi, our son is 12, main stream school has failed in fact he can’t cope in any onsite educational setting.

he has PDA and Autism.

we are struggling to pay for private online school, does anyone know what options are out there? Help! We are desperate 

  • Does he still have a place at a school even though he isn't attending? There are online tutors and in person tutors that can be funded by the local authority and can be arranged by schools. If he's still on role at a school I would ask to discuss that possibility with them. If they say they can't sort something like that, then you need to get in touch with someone from the local authority and discuss his educational options with them. These options would probably only be for so many hours each week so wouldn't be full time schooling but something is better than nothing.
