I would think it most likely to be down to ASD - specifically our social interaction cluelessness where we think the other party may be interested in the details of our life when in fact they rarely are, even when they ask "how are you?".
Also our special interests can be something we info dump on others about because it is interesting to us and we wrongly assume it is interesting the them too.
