Hi. My son is 13 and was diagnosed PDA when he was 9. As a bit of background he generally refuses all health care and doesn't co-operate with dentists, opticians or doctors. He had all the routine preschool vaccinations but since he's older now he is refusing all his vaccinations. I can let go of flu and covid, and even HPV because he's nowhere near ready for relationships. I spoke to the immunisation team when he was due the HPV vaccine and explained that I wanted him to have it but he had refused it when they were in school and didn't think he'd co-operate in the clinic either and they said not to worry, just leave it and they could try again in a few years. But he's been called for the meningitis and the 3 in 1 tetanus/diptheria/polio booster now and I feel strongly that these are really important so I'm not sure how to approach it.
