Hello,

I'm not sure i'm posting in the right place, but here goes.  My son is 23 with Aspergers.  He valiantly tried Uni for 2 years but could not cope with the workload and, I suspect, coping on his own (he was about 100 miles away).  He did have support there, but not enough to make him happy.

He tried having a year out as he was suffering from depression too, and found temporary work at his dad's place, and after that was given 3 weeks work experience at an agency he is enrolled at.

However, since then he has not been able to find work, has applied for many jobs and had one interview.  Now I am at a loss of how to help him, he is withdrawing into his shell again, and is convinced he is unemployable.  He is not signing on as yet, that in itself is a struggle as he doesn't see himself worthy of claming a benefit.

Has anyone got any ideas of where we could go next?  His main interest is in Computer Games Design, and this is what his uni course was, but I think he felt a little disappointed in it, and as to where it would take him.  I hate to feel as though i am pushing him, especially as he has been battling depression, but I feel as though he has just given up Frown.  I would appreciate any feedback, thank you
