Most eventful holiday ever. Happy to be home

I posted about the start of our holiday; Chloe's meltdowns due to not being able to settle, the plane, airport security, the kitten etc. I have some more to add on:

We had a lovely, fun, adventurous holiday. We love going away but we are going to leave it a while until we go away again.

Here are some more things that happened:

1. We spent the day in the police station, where English is not their language. The reason for this was not our fault but the Border's fault which is too long to explain. Everyone coped really well, surprisingly and we had a takeaway there too, which was nice.

2. Our rental car tyre blew. Luckily we were near our destination, the beach, so a kind person took us down the mountain to it so we could arrange help. There was no spare tyre, which was stupid. We spent time in the restaurant and on the beach, all by ourselves, which was even better. Chloe paddled, which is not something I expected, since she hates water.

3. We got back to our villa, and Chloe disappeared, which worried us a little because where did she go. She was SWIMMING! I put that in capitals because she hates, and I mean hates, swimming. And we were so surprised. It caught us off guard but is was lovely to see. It was all safe.

4. We had a power cut, the boiler lost hot water too, which we sorted. But the fridge was warm so we had to use the freezer at times to cool stuff down like milk.

5. Along with this, we couldn't lock the girls bedroom door, which my other daughter told us about after 3 days of leaving it open, especially when the cat was there. My husband fixed the door but it woke Chloe up and caused stress and a meltdown (along with the little things). It was at 9pm, but safety comes first.

6. Going home. In the airport, both the girls bags were pulled over for a search, don't know why. This causes stress for my other daughter. Chloe asked if she was alright and got shouted out (due to sister being very anxious) and Chloe ran off so obviously this caused a lot of panic. But we found her in Burger King and I explained why she got shouted at and everything.

7. On the plane, Chloe got travel sickness. She deteriorated really quickly. She was really shaky and fell to the floor due to feeling faint. She also was throwing up. I'm so grateful that the cabin crew helped us because she was really distressed, crying and we still had hours left on the plane. The public were also checking in, reassuring that it is ok and also helped us. Also, my husband was feeling unwell nearly all week too. Thankfully she is better today, after a sleep. I was worried because she was that distressed, she was lying on my lap and really cuddly when everyday it is hard to just get a little hug out of her. This is when I knew how bad she was feeling.

Is it anyone else, or is it just our holidays that end up really eventful and adventurous. Like I said, we all enjoyed it, even the tricky parts the children were laughing through because they found it hilarious how something went wrong everyday!!
