DLA Moblity

Does anyone have any experience of claiming this? I was sent a claim form a couple of months ago as dd turns 5 in July (she currently receives HRC). I returned it 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing since. Has anyone been through the process?

I applied for my daughter in mid December and had money in early February - about 5/6 weeks after applying. I actually got money in the bank before I had a letter confirming it. I almost cried when I saw it there - my daughter needed so many things by that point and Christmas and moving house had wiped the funds dry!

It takes quite a long time, but they will backdate it to when you applied if it's awarded. You can call them and ask for a status update.
