I asked you Theresa Marie, whether you had sought the approval of the moderators, as it says in the community rules.
If you've done so, and had approval, please say so. But it would surely be a matter of courtesy coming onto a discussion forum with a research request, to go through the proper procedure.
Also I am correct in pointing out the validity of gathered data. I am a retired lecturer. Students in most universities are advised against doing this because the uncontrolled data (you don't know if respondents are genuine) could invalidate your research, and could be grounds to fail. Also there are research ethics considerations regarding confidentiality, just because you say its anonymous isn't enough.
Your dissertation supervisor should have advised you against this, but some Health Science departments are being lax, and giving everyone else a bad name.
Lastly there is widespread concern at the way many people in health sciences are using discussion forums as a quarry for their research. I think you need to think more about the implications of asking for information in this way - it would avoid things getting heated, as people do feel strongly about this invasiveness.
