mufti day

Just wondering if other aspies on this forum struggle with dress down day (mufti day) at school.

My youngest gets very anxious and hates these day as the children tend to misbehave more than usual.

  • Yes. Absolutely.

In fact, when they were told they could go in wearing PE kit for inter-house sports day, my younger daughter couldn't cope and went in her normal uniform.

We've had all sorts of traumas about non-uniform days over the years and it never seems to get any better. My older daughter is in sixth form and their head told them, out of the blue, today that they don't need to wear business dress tomorrow. She's spent all evening wondering out loud what she should wear. The jacket and trousers wold be so much easier!
