Hi everyone!
We have an opportunity for people to get involved with some short video content we are making.
We would like to make a series of 6-8 self-shot short videos about the experience of getting an autism diagnosis. ('Self-shot' means that participants will record themselves using a smartphone or digital camera with a video function.) We want the series to present a diverse range of experiences, so we are asking for some biographical information to help us choose participants.
If you are interested in taking part, please email stories@nas.org.uk with the following information about yourself (or, if you are a parent/carer responding about the diagnosis of a child or an adult you are advocating on behalf of, give their details, with their consent):
We will select participants based on these details so we can ensure the video series presents a range of diagnosis experiences from a diverse range of people in terms of age, gender and ethnicity. We will send a guide on how to 'self-shoot' (record yourself on video) to the people who are selected and will guide them through questions to answer.
Please send your responses to: stories@nas.org.uk
Thank you,
The Content Team
