Hi, sorry to trouble you all but I was hoping for some advise.
My non binary (female) child doesn't like taking medication for anything, we have tried but it is always a "no". However when their period starts they are in a lot of pain, they can't cope but won't take anything, we use hot water bottles. We have advised them the pill will help, but the thought of taken medication every day does not appeal to them, Injection are a no no, implants get the same reaction. I can usually cope with every day things with them but I feel useless when they are on their period.
Thank you for any advice
Darren
Sorry auto correct change your name, sorry scouty
Hi Martin, thank you for your reply, unfortunately they had a bad experience in relation to sedation when they were younger so will not even consider anything even remotely like that
Hi Scotty, thank you for your reply, however they have tried a tens machine and due to the sensory feeling of it, did not like it
Have you considered arranging for medical sedation before an implant. My wife, who is quite phobic about dentistry, had a tooth extraction under sedation and said she didn't really notice it.
try looking into myoovi it's a tens machine designed to help specifically with period pain
