potentially neurodiverse toddler

I was wondering how parents of neurodiverse children got support pre-diagnosis?

I highly suspect my daughter has additional needs, as do her nursery. She is high energy, extremely loving and a total free spirit, delayed language, lots of sensory seeking behaviour and quite frankly atrocious sleep (from birth). Nursery are referring to paeds in April/June I believe but it can be really lonely as a parent as everything is on her agenda and I’m beginning to feel I can’t relate to other parents/socialising can be tricky as the gap between her and her friends in their development is becoming more noticeable the older she gets.

did any other parents of *potentially* neurodivergent toddlers feel this way? Did you find any support from other parents/communities? If so where can I look? I can see any local support groups near me but would appreciate any advice/direction at all.

thank you in advance,

x
