Wonder if anyone knows how much supports chidlren can get without Statement in primary mainstream schools.
my son is now 10yr and I was told by a EP that he needs two SLT sessions per week, one-to-one for weekly swimming sessions, plus he needs to be in a very small class size.
The problem is that he has not yet got Statement and our LA has been refusing to isseue the statement for him. I strongly feel that the supports that he needs are more than School Action Plus and he should have been issued Statement, but the LA has insisted that those services are available withint mainstream schools, without having Statement
Any of your children receive extra support in mainstream schools without Statement? If so, how much support s/he receive in school?
