Coats for a chewer?

My 6 year old son always chews his coats and damages the zip where we cant use the coat anymore, does anyone know of any coats that would be better suited than the usual "zip in the middle" coats we see in the stores?

What about using chewelry instead?

If you can find some chewelry that meets his sensory needs and provides him with something to bite down that might work (instead of chewing coats)
