Can’t get diagnosed

Why can’t some parents get their children an asc diagnosis, Despite being delayed with social skills quite significantly and having sensory processing issues?

If you want to learn more about the process of getting an ASD diagnosis in general, we have advice pages on the subject here - https://www.autism.org.uk/advice-and-guidance/topics/diagnosis. If your child has had a diagnostic assessment and you don't agree with the results, you do have the right to ask your GP for a second opinion. If you can explain a bit more about your situation and your issue perhaps someone will be able to offer some help.
