finding it hard to make just 1 friend

Hey everyone, Happy Friday!

So earlier this year I got diagnosed officially with ASD at 22 (Best news ive ever had, I know im not just that weird guy anymore!) but for all of my life I have had issues making friends. I guess this is just a reach out to anyone that would even consider talking to me for more than an hour and maybe even play some games!

  • I have had friends, but don't currently.  My last friend was slowly dragging me down into god knows what.  But the whole friendship was like wading through quicksand.  I axed it a lot later than I should have and it took some time to recover from it all.

I haven't rushed to make any new ones, but I also do want to.  The problem for me is NT's are hard to be friends with and ND's are harder.  My last friend was an ND.  Two ND's does not make a perfect friendship or at least i have never known any.

But if you 100% do want to make friends, find a hobby.  Join a walking club, take up a sport, volunteer somewhere.  When you socialise, you make friends.
