ADOS Scoring Explanation

Hello Everyone,

First time posting here from a confused mum of recently diagnosed 15 year daughter.

I have read a lot about ADOS scoring and have seen people comment with their scores of single numbers, of say 7 or 20 etc.  However my daughters report gives a number for each criteria and I am not too sure what this means.

We were given the information as follows:

7 in communication, 11 in social interaction (combined score 18), 2 in creativity and 5 in stereotyped behaviours. These scores are indicative of ASD.

Does this mean the total score of all (25) is her score. Or is just the combined score on 18 which has been deliberately mentioned?  I am not sure what scores are indicative of ASD?  All of them, or just some?

Any explanation of the above would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance for any help Slight smile
