Our Son has ASC but does engage with others and although he can be in his own world he isn’t always . If his Dad is struggling with our Son, he’ll say I can’t reach him his locked in his own world, if I say other people can, he just gets cross and says so your saying it’s me then. He then says later how well he’s coming on socially and that he is engaged with him. How do I explain our Son can be reached and is being reached ?
