I have a 15 Yr old boy who is clearly on the spectrum. He was referred to CAMHS back in 2018 and given a emotional health assessment. He was described as highly intelligent with low emotional maturity. The the world went mad with the pandemic.
Now 15 and adolescent, his ASD is very obvious. School are great but stuck as we do not have a formal diagnosis, and since the pandemic. Waiting times are 4+ yrs.
Looking at the private route, can anyone advise reliable assessment providers that are not £1900+
His SEN teacher reckons there are some offering service at around £600 which is easier to find and fund.
