Hi,
My 3 year old is awaiting a diagnosis for autism but the waiting time is up to 2 years. We do find his behaviour challenging particularly around other children at nursery we have speech therapy due to start soon and also having a SEN teacher going into nursery. We have spoken about getting a private diagnosis but I don’t know whether it is worth it and will it help move things forward or not? Has anyone got any experience of this or any thoughts about it?
