Hi,
I know they call it ASD, but are there different levels of autism?
my assessor said you either have it or you don't?
I can see there is like level 1-3
is that depending on what support is needed?
I get asked how severe is my autism?
thanks

I was diagnosed as 'High Functioning' three years ago, which I prefer to a number; however, I believe the term is now considered by many to be outdated.
I don't mind being considered 'Level 1' but do not like the term 'Aspergers'.
As I am unique, I guess I am 'Level Ben'.
Of course, we are all unique.
I'm sorry if that doesn't really answer your question.
Ben
