Hello,
I live in a rural location and was very happy to have moved back in to the area I have know all my life. It was perfect until a new neigbour moved in and caused problems from day one. He has mental health issues and while I am sympathetic, this does not give him the right to make my life a misery. I have been woken up by yelling and him flashing his bedroom light on and off, shouting abuse at me. He seems to view me as his support worker and keeps knocking on my door and banging on my windows when he wants me to deal with the slightest issue. He has been told by both the police and housing association that I am autistic. I have a note on the door and on my vehicle but this makes no difference. He has accused me of the most bizarre things such as interfering with his electric meter to increase the price. This was three months after the price cap increase! I am having to sleep in my living room and am fed up. I have been advised there is nothing that can be done and I should move but why should I? Besides, I am loath to move to a new area without support. All advice would be gratefully received.
