Hello all new here not sure anyone can help, I was asked by the school to make a self referral to adulthood for my then 16 year old she asked if I had deputyship or appointee I said no she said that I must make a court for this is this right? Now since he’s 17 he’s been referred to the reaching independent team I’m not sure what to make it of it all but being positive for my son I said yes and I’m still not sure if it was the right thing as I do want him to have his independence.
