worried about 19yr old son...would welcome advice please..

He has HFA, & is at uni. he has not gone out all year apart from food shopping & lectures. he has no friends.
academically he is doing ok, & has passed all exams.
he has put on 2 stone over the year, through inactivity and eating junk. he does no exercis, and will not entertain the idea of anything I suggest.
his personal hygiene is questionable now he is not at home- wears grubby stained tops and ill fitting bottoms. does not shower or clean his teeth. he wants to look for a job over the summer but does not believe that "1st impressions count."

How can i help him see tha5 he is not helping himself? is it possible?
he is also gay, which is obviously fine in itself - but he has no idea about personal safety. he let slip today that he was planning on visiting a gay club on his own. (he has never been clubbing and probably wouldn't get in given the state of how he looks) he couldn't understand my concern.

we have no family members to help, & i don't know who his friends from school are any more

is there anything anywhere I could show him about staying safe as a young gay autistic man? i am so worried for him and about him. thanks.
