High pitch screeching

Hi all I'm very knew too all this, my son is 7 and is currently going through an autism diagnosis.....which is taking absolutely ages. I've been trying too look up as much as I possibly can. But he does a  high pitch screech when hes over stimulated..could be while watching the telly on his ipad xbox playing a game certain words....any one have any ideas as to what and how too deal with this its soo high pitch.....thanks Blush

    Yes this is what we've been doing.  thing. Its very tricky as we have 2 other children. We have reduced ipad time as he tends to hit the ipad. I just wonder if some fidget toys would help?!

  • Sounds like vocal stimming perhaps? Anyway, distraction might help, or perhaps reduce the time spent on the triggers.
