Travelling to Turkey with my ASD son

HI,

I am due to travel to Turkey next week with my 4 year old autistic son. We have flew many times and he has been fien as we have downloaded games etc on  iPad but he is now obsessed with YouTube. As the plane doesn't have WIFI i am afraid this will send him into melt down if i give him the Ipad with no internet.

He isnt really into books, colouring or any specific toys. And is currently non-verbal.

Any advice on how to keep him entertained for 4 hours would be welcomed

  • When my kids were small we got a lot of mileage out of a magnetic sketcher. One holiday I drew a dog looking at a puppy and my daughter liked it so much she refused to allow it to be wiped. I had to reproduce it in pen on a piece of card, before we could use the sketcher again.
