  • Sounds like ADHD.

I have several friends who are ADHD: one who grew up using an elliptical bike and is a counsellor + yoga instructor, one who bikes or runs daily and is a music producer, 2 managing music artists (one who's artists are signed by Warner and have toured with Taylor Swift). I know a theologian/professor who's been overhauling the landscape of modern Christianity in the States, started a church, has loads of books and podcasts... the list goes on and me being autistic, I attract them! They're the fun and I'm the anchor. But most get 5-6 hours of sleep, and while we can handle each others psychological intensity, it's as if they are living in a few dimensions of time simultaneously. I think it's only a cousin who has opted for Ritalin. But everyone seems to thrive better with a daily routine of hard exercise and when they exhaust their capacity mentally.

So, back garden relays, jump rope, a trampoline, video games with exercise routines, and so on. You could do a search for amazing cheap workouts at home and also practice spelling or maths or something educational while doing it.
