Autistic & ADHD - Advice on Medication / Doctors

Hi All,

I have a 19 yr old who was diagnosed with Autism in 2020 and ADHD in 2022. She has tried some ADHD medication that has helped (Elvanse 50mg with a 20mg for crash), but we're still need to get it right. Where we need some help is ADHD doctors who are experts in this field. Especially with experience in Autism & ADHD in girls. Where we live (North Wales) we just can't seem to find anyone who is an expert and can give our daughter the advice and guidance that she so desperately needs. It feels like we're left to Google all of our information on medication and this just can't be right. Hoping someone out there knows an expert who they have had first hand experience with.

Unfortunately the directory isn't very helpful. There are 0 doctors listed for Adult services, and there is no services that seem to specialise in Autism & ADHD combined. I'm hoping that other Adults who may have autism and ADHD can provide some advice and guidance,.
