Autism and Nursing Course?

Hi,

I am currently considering studying nursing in uni.  I don't know any autistic nurse before, so I am a bit nervous whether I will get rejected because of that.

Could anyone share your (or your children's) experience as an autistic nurse?  

Can I pass through the occupational health clearance, given that I have an EHC Plan?

  • Idk if I’m autistic and might not ever. But a lot of things are clicking here for me. I just retired from a 30 year career in radiology. But again I don’t know if I have autism. If I do it certainly wasn’t a limiting factor. I am aware that there are differing degrees of severity. I seem to get along in many respects so I’m having a hard time with the thought of diagnosis.
