Hello everyone. I hope you are all well. Usually I come on here for help and answers but today I would like to share some positive news.
My daughter has had, probably the best week ever, at school and this is a huge achievement.
She has completed all her work to the best of her ability, hasn't asked for a staff change which she would usually do every day. Stayed in her classroom, no wandering or walking away from staff or the designated area, put her shoes on and waiting for staff after her Sports lesson which she would usually just run out of. And the biggest one yet, she has been eating her lunch most days, usually she would have nothing. She also hasn't chewed her bottle lids and used her chew instead!
I am so happy right now. All she needed was a break from school to break the cycle. Just wanted to share this accomplishment. It may seem like the littlest of things but it is a massive win! She has grown so much confidence, but I also think I'm meeting her needs at home, well she is, by buying everything she needs on amazon, turning the house into a massive sensory room. Amazing!!!
