Adult son support for down the line

Hi everyone and a happy new year Confetti ball....

Our adult son was diagnosed at just 21 , we are his appointee and we wandered if or what there was out there for future support , basically information on how to get support in place for him for when Smileywe're not here (depressing I know !)  he doesn't work nor will be able to but does get financial support .As we're his only support , we'd like to find out if there's avenues we can go down that will help him with his finances ,bills ,shopping etc ifSmiley we are not here ,we have no family nor does he have siblings so I was wandering if there was such a thing or has anyone any experience of support for the future ? Sorry for the long post Smiley

  • Thank you , yes he's under the Dr for his anxiety etc ,I just  didn't know if we need to see a solicitor for a plan to set up for him?? I'm my son's carer so yes like you said ,there must be some out there like there are for the elderly? Just not sure about down the line if me and hisRelaxed dad are not here ,it's more I'm worried about bills being paid as it what we do to ensure these things are sorted out , hopefully in years to come we can guiRelaxedde  him a bit more but yes maybe have to look at outside care services to see what would be offered ,I know it's (hopefully) a long way off but just had me thinking of the future , thank you very muchRelaxed@sam for help Relaxed️
