does hyper sensitive and hypo sensitive autism need separate environment for therapy?

hi all, i'm an architecture student, and im doing therapy facility for autistic in my thesis, so im currently studying on autistic and i found that there are two kind of autistic, which effecting their senses, hypo and hyper. but in my country, there are no separate treatment for this. i'd like to know what is the best environment autistic should have.

  • There are not simply two types of autistic - hyper- and hypo-.

    One person on the autistic spectrum can be hyper-sensitive to, say, light, but also hypo-sensitive to sound.

    And so on.

    The ideal treatment environment, therefor, would need to be flexible and allow changes to be made to it to cater for all levels of sensitivity in all sensory modalities.
