last day of term and im exhausted allready!

Decided to book a last minute holiday park deal a few days ago much too my son J's (14 ADHD ASD) annoyance ....apparently it was going too be boring etc etc but as usaul full manipulation is always at hand and with a 8yr old brother watching he is beggining to use J's little ways now so its like double the effort of anything .

So as of yesterday goes J's changed his mind as long as his cousin can go, yes no problem more kids the merrier ......but then "the whats the point of going school on the last day" started before bed then as well as 1st thing this morning,  then because he couldnt have day off he wasnt going then he rang his cousin told him im not going then my 8 yr old wanted the day off as well then !!! All this before 8am .....finally agreed on half day each but then he said "well why cant you pick me up at 11:30 instead"...........always pushing the bounderies always trying too gain control of any situation im tired allready ....lol and the holiday hasnt even begun ! GD LUCK too parents this half term x

  • I have 11 year old twin boys who are always pushing the boundaries and are on the Autstic Spectrum- one has Aspergers Syndrome and ADHD and his twin has Autism. Their big brother is 14 tomorrow and has Global Developmental Delay and a few of the characteristics of ASDs but without the triad of impairments (his social skills are immature not Autistic, for example). They are exhausting work.

no holiday at Easter, either, so i'm rather champing at the bit.  but hopefully it's going to be ok.  just reeeeeelax
