How can my husband my child’s dad, understand why our son thinks and does things differently. Why he may struggle to do things like Christmas the conventional way, it shouldn’t be a problem, it’s not wrong, just different. Yes we both have to change how we have done Christmas and many other things but to me adapting to our Son makes for us being happier all round?

    I do think that it's wonderful that you're making adaptions for your son and making sure that he enjoys things in his way.

    My daughter kept getting do stressed and upset not knowing what she was getting for Christmas that I just told her, and it took some persuading for my partner to understand that a surprise was not enjoyable for her.
