I'm new here but does anyone have direct or indirect experience of Deptford Green School?
Lewisham has put our son's EHCP out to them as part of the statutory secondary school transfer consultation process.
He's aged 10 with a diagnosis of ASD (with a demand avoidance profile), Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD.
He's really bright (standardised score = 137) but he struggles start work or to concentrate for long enough to use his capabilities academically.
His primary school has done a fantastic job but the much larger scale of most mainstream secondary schools is definitely going to be a challenge.
Ofsted rated the overall school as 'Good' in their last review but I can't find much about the quality of their ASD capabilities.
