My 6 year old son has extreme anxieties where he will scream so loud and shout I’m scared I’m scared over and over. Once he’s scared of one thing then everything else is scary. This morning there was a slug on the path on the way to school and he screamed all the way screaming I’m scared and wouldn’t walk at first then once he was walking anything he stood on he started screaming again. It’s went on into tonight where he’s scared to be upstairs in his room alone without his brother because he can hear little noises like creaks and wind and then fireworks were set off and again the same I’m scared over and over screaming. He is currently on the Neurodevelopmental pathway for asd but I feel he shows more traits of adhd. Is extreme anxiety common in asd ?
