We still have no taxi for school. They said we are entitled but need to pay £1400 which we just don't have. We have been fighting this since July and the school are doing their best their side aswell.
School have put a short term plan in place until we figure out what is happening with the taxi and why it should be free. She is being picked on a Monday morning does her sports lesson then gets dropped home at lunch. Tuesday and Wednesday I take her. Thursday and Friday she's at home. In school she doesn't do much work and just refuses it because she doesn't see the point since she's never in.
What else can I do to fight for this taxi! They asked me yesterday to see how much money my husband earns. Thing is we earn quite a bit and aren't on any benefits. If we end up getting a taxi, we will need to reapply again in June/July and go through all this again. My daughter is also trying to claim PIP and should find out within the next 8 weeks whether she gets the claim on not and if she does. There's always some sort of drama going on...
