ASD therapy or treatment cost for an foreign citizen

To whom it may concern,

I hope you are doing well. I am planning to move to the UK as an international student to do my masters. But I have a wife and two children as dependents. Both of my children are autistic(ASD), they need special care. My question is if they move to the UK with me as a dependent, will they get any govt help which is normally given to UK citizens?

For example, does the health insurance cover Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) therapy or treatment cost for an foreign citizen?

Please suggest me, is it wise to move to UK  in this circumstance.

I know this question may not be relevent to this group but i have no other option.

Depending on your answer, I will take the decision whether I will move to the UK or not. Your answer is very important to me. please.

  • As foreign citizens, your kids may not be eligible for all the government assistance that UK citizens receive. However, there are options to consider. It would be a good idea to research and find an insurance plan that specifically covers ASD therapy. Reaching out to an expert would be a lot wiser than asking this on the forum. Ultimately, the decision to move to the UK is a personal one, but it's always worth exploring the resources and support available.
