Doors!!

Hello

I wonder if anyone can share their experience as I feel as though I need some reassurance.
I have twins with Autism, they are 5 and for about a year now they have been fascinated with opening and shutting doors. Automatic doors are the absolute peak of everything.

When we go out it’s so restrictive because doors are everywhere and we just get stuck in doorways and can’t move them on without a meltdown.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to manage or hopes for the future that perhaps it might not last too much longer..

Thanks :)

  • Oh yes

Before automatic they used to be manual

In an old building slamming them would make the whole  building  shake

I was trying to make oscillations reverberate, and I was slamming them without end

    I love standing waves

I like to make other things oscillate too

that would keep me away from doors
