Boy shaving query

Hi,

I have a 15 year old son who has both ASD & ADHD. He also suffers from acne. It has got the stage where he needs to shave once a week.  I carry this out with a normal razor but I would be very reluctant to let him use it.  I've looked on the Internet but it seems the best razor for his acne is a manual razor. The websites I've looked at seem to say an electric razor helps spread the bacteria. I'm now not sure what I should do but any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you

  • Hi, it’s something that I suffered from badly as a teenager. The other way to help the problem may be to address the acne. I went to my gp and was given a cream that really dries the skin and cleans the pores. It was prescription only. I also had a course of treatment with a lamp at the local hospital, My skin was 90% better.
