Boy shaving query

Hi,

I have a 15 year old son who has both ASD & ADHD. He also suffers from acne. It has got the stage where he needs to shave once a week.  I carry this out with a normal razor but I would be very reluctant to let him use it.  I've looked on the Internet but it seems the best razor for his acne is a manual razor. The websites I've looked at seem to say an electric razor helps spread the bacteria. I'm now not sure what I should do but any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you

  • i let my facial hair just grow a bit, and keep it trimmed with scissors.... it actually controls it better that way, because if you shave with a blade or even a electric shaver (which electric shaver maybe better for your lad) then your hair grows thicker and faster anyway making you need to shave every single day... if you let it grow a bit and keep it trimmed with scissors it retains a slow growth and youd only need to trim it every month or 2 or 3.... shaving kinda causes the issue.
