Hello, I'm new. I'm autistic and so is my young daughter, she's just turned six last month. I feel a really bad mum for not knowing what to do here but I'm stuck and need help. Rebecca, my daughter, isn't sleeping much. She wakes up about an hour or so after I put her to bed and then she'll keep doing that all night. As we're both autistic I'm able to use my own experiences to help sometimes but this is something I haven't dealt with myself. I go up and she'll be playing toys, jumping about, etc. I get her back in bed and then she's up again in no time and says she wants to play or isn't tired. I did call the doctor but the receptionist was rude "not a medical problem" apparently. Times like this I really wish we had autistic clinics here where I could go. I hope someone can help us with this. Being up all night is exhausting and I struggle to cope now it's just us. Thanks in advance.
