Wetting and soiling

I have talked about toileting on this site a couple of times. My Son who’s nearly six is being toilet trained, which is a very long process. There are times when he needs to urinate or open his bowels but he runs away from us and hides rather than sit on the toilet, he will giggle to. Could this be because he likes the feel of wetting or soiling himself? he wants a reaction? or he is anxious about using the toilet?

    My son now 28 had alsorts of issues when younger re toileting. He'd hold on and the just soil himself and appear not to know he'd done it. He hated sitting on the toilette and his stomach was that distended because he refused to do a poo. We'd alsorts of medi action that made his, bowels contract so he was kinda forced to go and poo. It took years i thought it would ever end. It did he now uses the toilette has do e for years. Alas he's issues re wipeing himself, he refuses to touch toilette paper, wo t use wetwipes or even a wet sponge. We tried for years to get help with this issue which started when he was a child but no one listened. To be blunt I wiped his bottom up to him being 12 then it was no longer appropriate.
