PECS Communication Binder

I'm thinking about making a communication binder for my daughter for home and school. 

I'm completely new about PECS and visuals, we never used them when she was younger, only started about 1 year ago using them at school and she has started using them at home. At times she is unable to communicate, both home and school, and this can last from 10 minutes to days. I'm hoping using a PECS book will help. 

I have a binder but I have no clue what I'm doing. Do I print of visuals, laminate them and put them in the binder? I don't know what to include in it, it's for home and school. Any tips on how to get started is amazing. Thanks xx
