Hi, can anyone recommend a 1-on-1 swimming instructor, ideally in North London who specialises in teaching autistic children to swim?
My daughter (11yo, recently diagnosed) would like to be able to swim, but has never had any success with lessons, both private and through school (these were all pre-diagnosis)
She's funny about getting water on her face and also sometimes finds the instructions confusing and the demands of what she's being asked to do in the pool overwhelming, along with the noise and activity from the other children.
I think being able to swim would be great for her confidence as she loves being in the pool (with a ring) when we're on holiday, but there's always worry having her around water as a non-swimmer.
