I have just got the news from my daughters saying the cat at their dad's died this morning. I have clarified this with the dad since they've been round there the past couple of day, currently at their Grandma's. Apparently the cat, Hattie, hasn't been well recently so took her to the vets yesterday for blood works and it came back saying she has a cancerous tumor. Their dad told the girls about this yesterday and explained there is medication and they will do everything they can to help her but that she might not make it to the end of the week.
Unfortunately that was the case. She was 19 years old in cat years, 96 in human years, so she was old and has had lived life to the fullest. Of course my daughter are upset and we want to do something to remember Hattie. They took pictures and said goodbye yesterday incase this happened. So we might frame a picture, a collage of all the photos of her. It's sad news and we are working with all the children on how to deal with this. I hope anyone has ideas on great ways to remember her. Last time, my oldest daughter draw an amazing picture of her horse when it got put down and has it on her wall. If anyone has an ideas, please share them. Xx
