My 18 year old Aspie son (also transgender F-m) is starting at a new college in September. I previously posted about malicious rumours being spread around about him. Anyway, to cut a long story short, he has decided to start afresh and move on. He’s very nervous about moving to a new college but feels it’s for the best. He finds making friends very daunting and, as mentioned before, people misunderstand him. He is very young socially and emotionally and has been badly bullied and also taken advantage of due to his trusting nature and naiviety. He’s a fabulous boy with lots to offer, is kind and caring, very loyal, very quirky (is emo/goth) and loves his art. He plays bass guitar too. He would love to be in a band. He would like to hang out and chill with similar folks who are not going to judge and are on a similar wavelength. Gosh! I don’t mean this to sound like a dating agency. I’m merely (with his consent) seeing if there are any other young people out there (your kids) who may be in the same boat?! He has had too much prejudism about being trans and also autistic so a double whammy! If any of your kids can emphathise/relate, please do get in touch. Thank you!
