Son-Rise Programme

Has anyone done the Son-Rise programme which is run by US organisation. Thinking of doing it but not sure if it is a money con as it is very expensive.

I have a 7year old autistic child who is non verbal, and will try anything to help him.

Love to hear from someone who has done course or who is involved with families who have

  • Hi Everyone,

I have been running a Son Rise Program for my son now for a few years. I have found it to be the very best of options, not just for me but for my whole family. What I like about it is that it focuses on inspiring and building rapport with my child. Before I started this I felt that I had lost the connection with my son and that was really hard to deal with. Within a short while of starting the program he started to speak and after a while sentences came. He no longer runs away, he is fully toilet trained, he doesn't trash the house, he talks to other children and plays with them, but best of all was we made the connection again, I felt he trusted me and loved me again.  There are so many more things that I gained from this program. He was eight years old when his school place collapsed and so I did this at home full time. Yes it took all my time, but it has been the most wonderful thing I ever did. The Autism Treatment Centre of America offer scholarships so money isn't an issue. Over the years I have got to know the Kaufman family and I have found them to be the most open, honest, generous and dedicated people. I have no hesitation in recommnding this therapy to anyone who is wanting to help their child to progress.
